Ballet Apprentice Program

As a dance ministry, our heart is for worship and making Christ known!  We believe in pursuing excellence in our art-form through sound classical ballet training while encouraging a heart for worship in our dancers.   It is our desire that through the arts, each of us will Worship God, Love People, Share the Gospel, and Make Disciples of Jesus Everywhere We Go! 


When it comes to equipping the next generation of dancers, Paradosi utilizes an immersive apprenticeship approach to ballet ministry training verses a stand alone ballet trainee program separate from the company.  Paradosi's apprentices train and minister along side our company members while receiving additional focused attention from our Artistic Director and faculty.   Apprentices may also tour with the company at the discretion of the Artistic Director.  Paradosi's program is designed to equip dancers with the skills and first-hand experience necessary to thrive while serving in a full-time dance ministry.

About the Program

Paradosi's Ballet's Apprentice Program is a progressive two-year ballet training and discipleship program that will challenge dancers artistically, technically, and in their spiritual growth!  


Paradosi program is different from other ballet trainee programs as it offers dancers a fully immersive and nurturing environment focused on a dancers personal growth and call to ministry.  Under the direction of Artistic Director, Larissa Bischoff, Apprentices will train and minister with the Company Members of Paradosi while receiving more focused instruction and feedback as they continue to grow.


As an Apprentice you will refine your ballet technique, develop further artistry, learn, rehearse and share company repertoire through outreach and worship opportunities, learn how to teach dance in a Christian environment through our Teacher Assistant program with our school, receive altar ministry and evangelism training, and receive gospel focused theological training through our cohort with Western Seminary.  Dancers with an interest may also have opportunities to grow as choreographers and to learn more about the administrative end of running a dance studio and ministry.

    Worship God, Love People, Share the Gospel, and Make Disciples of Jesus Everywhere We Go!

    • We will use dance as a ministry tool to reach those who do not know Jesus
    • We will use dance as a ministry tool to uplift believers and to remind them of the beauty of God and His love for them
    • We will use dance as a ministry tool to teach and reach the young helping them to grow in their relationship with God and to use their gifts to glorify the Lord

  • As a Christian ministry we agree with the historic Apostles' Creed of the Christian Church.  We believe that this statement is in accordance with the teachings of the Bible and is accepted interdenominationally.


    Apostles Creed

    "I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord.  He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.  He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.  He descended to the dead.  On the third day He rose again.  He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.  He will come again to judge the living and the dead.  I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.     The Christian Bible

    We believe the Christian Bible to be the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God revealing the love of God to the world.  It is our handbook for Christian living and our final authority on all spiritual matters.  (John 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13)


    Evangelism and Discipleship

    We believe that Jesus sends His redeemed people into the world as the Father sent Him. We believe that the ministry of evangelism, the sharing and proclaiming of the message of salvation only possible by belief in Jesus Christ, and discipleship, helping followers of Jesus to grow in maturity with their faith, is the responsibility of all followers of Jesus.  We believe that our mission as ambassadors of Jesus Christ is to share His message of salvation, love, and forgiveness in order to fulfill the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Romans 10:9-15, 1 Peter 3:15)


    These statements do not exhaust the extent of Paradosi Christian Ballet's beliefs. the Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God, speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, what we believe, and the proper conduct of mankind.
