Surrendered School of Dance was founded in 2009 as the dance school of Paradosi Ballet Company.

As a faith based organization, Surrendered School of Dance is unique in that we go against the norm of the dance world by utilizing family friendly music, promoting modesty, self-worth, and inclusivity in a non-competitive yet professional atmosphere.

While we are a faith based organization, our school is open to all in the community regardless of their beliefs.

About Us

As a dance school, we strive to develop excellent dancers in a nurturing and loving environment.  While our studio is non-competitive in nature, we work to challenge each student to reach their fullest potential, not only as dancers, but to grow in their faith as well.

As a faith based organization, Surrendered School of Dance is different in that we go against the norm of the dance world by utilizing family friendly music, promoting modesty, self-worth, and inclusivity in a non-competitive yet professional atmosphere.

While the school is a faith based organization, it is open to all in the community regardless of their beliefs.  Please keep in mind; however, that as a faith based organization we often utilize Christian music in the classroom and teachers may take the first few minutes of class to pray with the students.

Our History

Surrendered School of Dance, formerly called Surrendered School of the Arts, was founded in 2009 as the dance school of Paradosi Ballet Company. Throughout the years we have loved pouring into the lives of students and families in the communities in which we live and serve.  We have taught thousands of students through our main Tacoma campus, multiple satellite campuses, and after school enrichment programs.

We have been so honored to have played a part in the development of each student that has walked through our doors and we look forward to sharing the gift of dance with many more for generations to follow!

"Start children off on the way they should go,

and even when they are old they will not turn from it."
