  • Paradosi is first and foremost a ministry.  As a ministry, one of our core values is to focus on ministry first, dance second. We carry this value forward into our Summer Dance Intensives in our interactions with each student.  While we want to challenge students in their dancing and to help them to grow as artists, we also want their hearts to be opened to Jesus.  It is our hope that each student will come away with a deeper understanding of God's love for them and a renewed and strengthened relationship with Jesus.

Christ is at the center of all that we do! Each morning starts out with chapel where students share in a time of worship, prayer, and hear a message or testimony from a member of Paradosi or one of our amazing guest speakers.

Every evening students also participate in a small group Bible study with 5 to 10 students. During this time students are free to ask questions and learn with students their own age. Often very deep and sweet friendships develop from these groups and carry on long after the intensive ends.

As an inter-denominational Christian ministry, our dancers set aside their theological differences and come together to share the love of Jesus.  Our dancers have all been trained in prayer ministry, evangelism, and each has an immense heart for others and making Christ known.  Each member of the ministry is prepared and ready to offer prayer and support to the participants at any time.

AUDITIONING  TO  JOIN  PARADOSI  DURING  THE  INTENSIVE

Type the content for this accordion section here. This is just example text to show you what it will look like when you enter text content into this accordion section. Your unique, authentic, and appropriate text will be filled into this section.

  • During the Intensive dancers will be given an opportunity to audition to join Paradosi during the following season.  The 2022/2023 Season will begin on September 1, 2022.  Dancers must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the season in order to audition.

There are only a couple of extra steps to audition during the intensive.  The first step is to let us know that you would like to audition to join the ministry.

You do not need to know before coming if you will be auditioning to join the ministry or not.  In the past we have had dancers come to our intensives with no intention of joining the ministry but during their time with us, God spoke to their hearts and they followed His lead.  If you are already here during the intensive and would like to audition, please speak with one of our Director's to let us know that you are interested.

If you are coming to the intensive knowing that you will be auditioning, please indicate so on your application.

  • Auditioning during the intensive involves having a meeting with the Director's where you will hear more about the heart of the ministry and how Paradosi operates.  During the meeting you will also have an opportunity to ask more questions about the ministry.  This meeting is as much about you getting to know us and us getting to know you.

  • For dancers auditioning during the intensive there will be three additional short written requirements to finalize your application.  You may provide your responses in advance if you know you will be auditioning or you may complete this section while you are at the intensive.

    • Share Your Salvation Testimony: Please include when you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and what God is currently doing in your life.
    • Why are you interested in joining Paradosi Ballet Company?
    • What do you hope to accomplish/do during your time with the ministry?

  • As finding housing for our dancers occurs during the early part of the summer, dancers auditioning during the intensive will have a very short window for accepting any offer given to them to join Paradosi's Trainee-Apprentice Program or other positions in the ministry.

    • We will notify applicants within 3-days after the end of the intensive of an offer to join the ministry.
    • Applicants will then have 4-days to pray about their decision before we will require a response.

We are sorry for the short turn around time but it is necessary in order for dancers to connect with roommates and secure housing before the start of the season.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions. We look forward to getting to know you!
