Credential Verification & Teacher Training Confirmation

Paradosi Christian Ballet operating as Paradosi Ballet Company and Surrendered School of Dance are happy to confirm teacher training, teaching experience, apprenticeship, company involvement, and other organizational participation upon request.

For clarity, attendance at a class, workshop, audition, or short-term dance intensive should be represented accurately and does not imply company membership, faculty status, certification, endorsement, or completion of a long-term training program unless specifically stated in writing by Paradosi Christian Ballet.

To request credential verification, please contact us by email and include the relevant information for the individual whose involvement you are asking us to confirm.

Celebrating Your Experience With Paradosi Accurately

We are grateful for every student, intensive attendee, trainee, apprentice, teacher, and company member who has been part of Paradosi Christian Ballet, Paradosi Ballet Company, Surrendered School of Dance, or Surrendered School of the Arts. We welcome individuals to include their experience with our organization in bios, résumés, employment applications, websites, and promotional materials.

When doing so, please use wording that accurately reflects your role, length of participation, and any completed training or confirmed credentials. Clear and accurate wording honors your experience, helps schools and employers understand your background, and protects the integrity of the training, programs, and ministry involvement connected with our organization.

If in doubt about wording, please contact us for appropriate wording for your specific experience.

Recommended Wording for Former SSD Students and Intensive Attendees

Individuals who participated in classes, workshops, auditions, or short-term intensives with Paradosi Ballet Company or Surrendered School of Dance are welcome to reference that participation accurately.

Appropriate examples may include:

  • “Attended Paradosi Ballet Company's Summer Dance Intensive.”
  • “Participated in Paradosi Ballet’s Summer Dance Intensive in [year].”
  • “Studied at Surrendered School of Dance from [year] to [year].”
  • “Took classes with Surrendered School of Dance for [length of time].”
  • “Participated in a workshop with Paradosi Christian Ballet.”

Unless there was ongoing enrollment or a formal training relationship, short-term participation should not be described in a way that implies long-term training, company membership, faculty status, certification, endorsement, completion of a training program, or employment.

Recommended Wording for Current & Former Trainees, Apprentices, and Company Members

Individuals who served in a formal trainee, apprentice, or company role with Paradosi Ballet Company are welcome to describe that role accurately, including the title held and the length of participation.

Appropriate examples may include:

  • “Trained with Paradosi Ballet Company as an Apprentice for one year.”
  • “Served as an Apprentice with Paradosi Ballet Company from [year] to [year].”
  • “Participated in Paradosi Ballet Company’s Apprentice Program for [length of time].”
  • “Danced with Paradosi Ballet Company as a Company Artist for [length of time].”
  • “Served as a Senior Apprentice with Paradosi Ballet Company from [year] to [year].”

If a trainee or apprentice participated for a period of time but did not complete the full program, the wording should reflect the time served rather than imply program completion.

For example:

  • “Participated in Paradosi Ballet Company’s Apprentice Program for one year.”
  • “Trained with Paradosi Ballet Company as an Apprentice during the [year/year] season.”

If the certificate received at the end of training states the number of years of training, but does not state “successfully completed,” the individual may reference the number of years of training but should not claim program completion.

For example:

  • “Completed two years of training through Paradosi Ballet Company’s Apprentice Program.”
  • “Trained for two years through Paradosi Ballet Company’s Apprentice Program.”

Statements such as “Successfully completed Paradosi Ballet Company’s Apprentice Program” should only be used when program completion has been specifically confirmed in writing by Paradosi Christian Ballet.

Completion of a formal training program, promotion, faculty role, certification, or endorsement should only be stated when it has been specifically confirmed in writing by Paradosi Christian Ballet.

Wording that Requires Written Confirmation

The following types of statements, including variations that reference Paradosi Ballet, Paradosi Ballet Company, Paradosi Christian Ballet Company, Surrendered School of Dance, or Surrendered School of the Arts, should only be used when they can be confirmed in writing by Paradosi Christian Ballet:

  • “Former faculty member of Paradosi Christian Ballet.”

  • “Endorsed by Paradosi Christian Ballet.”
  • “Company member with Paradosi Christian Ballet.”
