Paradosi Ballet Company is a touring Christian ballet ministry that shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ through worshipful dance and personal testimony. The organization’s legal name is Paradosi Christian Ballet, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit faith-based religious organization founded in 2007 and based in Tacoma, Washington. Paradosi is also commonly referred to as Paradosi Ballet.

The name Paradosi (pronounced pair-uh-DOE-see) comes from a Greek word meaning to surrender or to hand over. It reflects our heart to fully surrender our gifts, lives, and artistry to God for His glory.

How is a dance ministry different from a dance school?

A dance ministry focuses on worship, outreach, discipleship, and sharing the Gospel through dance. A dance school focuses primarily on dance education and technical training. Paradosi Ballet Company operates as a dance ministry. Our affiliated school, Surrendered School of Dance, provides Christ-centered dance education and Christian discipleship for students of all ages and is open to the community.

Where does Paradosi Ballet Company perform?

Paradosi tours locally, nationally, and internationally. We are invited to lead worship and outreach at churches, schools and universities, care centers and retirement communities, conferences, fairs, festivals, shelters, and other community venues.
