Specific Giving Needs

As a faith-based ministry, we rely on God working in the hearts of individuals to provide for our ongoing needs.  Each year, Paradosi participates in 50-80 outreach events, and we need your support to make these opportunities happen.  Your generous gifts to the ministry will help support outreach opportunities at care centers, shelters, schools, fairs, festivals, and other opportunities that are opened to us throughout the year.  Gifts designated to specific funds will be held in separate interest-bearing savings accounts to be used towards that goal when the time comes to use your gift.

Thank you for supporting the Gospel work of Paradosi through your financial support!

General Ministry Needs

Paradosi Ballet Company is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry dedicated to sharing the hope, love, and beauty of Jesus through dance, discipleship, and outreach. As a faith-based organization, we rely on God’s provision through the generosity of His people to meet the needs of this ministry.

Your gifts make it possible for us to continue going into communities to proclaim the Gospel and encourage the body of Christ.

Every program where we share has expenses, including fuel, food, dancewear, and other essentials, as well as the ongoing costs of rent, utilities, maintenance, and insurance for our studio.

At some events, such as churches, we may receive a love offering that helps offset these costs. However, many of the places we serve such as assisted living facilities, rehab centers, homeless shelters, and schools do not have budgets to bring in groups like ours. We never want financial resources to stand in the way of ministry. Your support ensures that when we are asked to go, we can say yes.

Thank you for prayerfully considering supporting the Gospel work of Paradosi through a gift that is meaningful to you. Together, we can bring light and hope to those who need it most.

“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38

Local Outreach

Each season, Paradosi shares times of worship and connection at care centers, memory care facilities, retirement homes, rehab facilities, homeless shelters, schools, and other locations that cannot provide us with an honorarium.

We do not want resources to be a hinderance to any one that wants us to share with the people in their care so if we are asked to come, we make every effort to go!

Each of these outreach opportunities has direct expenses for us to share including fuel, dance shoes, dance clothing, Bibles,  rolls of gaff tape, and snacks for our dancers.  The cost for many of these programs falls between $75 - $300 based on the specific needs of the event and distance from our studio.

Please prayerfully consider supporting our local outreach efforts so that we can share the love, hope, and beauty of Jesus in these special communities!

"Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:27

Global Outreach

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? and who will go for us?" and I said, "Here I am. Send me!"

Isaiah 6:8

Since 2010, Paradosi has shared the love of Jesus through international outreach tours. When overseas, our goal is to come alongside local churches, missionaries, and ministries, partnering with them in the Gospel work they are doing in their communities.

Many of our outreach events take place during major arts festivals, where our worship on the streets helps create a draw that gives opportunities for life-giving and life-changing Gospel-focused conversations and prayer to occur.

Our greatest expense is airfare. Once on the ground, we keep costs low by staying with locals, in churches, or in group housing. This not only saves resources but also deepens our connection with the local body of Christ.

To keep travel costs manageable, most funds must be raised by the end of February, before airfare climbs sharply and train reservations become limited.

Please prayerfully consider supporting the Gospel work of Paradosi through a gift to our Missions Fund, helping us share the hope of Jesus around the world.

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you." Matthew 28:18-20

Surrendered School of Dance Financial Aid Fund

Ongoing Need

Surrendered School of Dance (SSD) is the official dance school of Paradosi Ballet Company. Together, we are one organization with one mission.

Founded in 2009, our school serves as a local outreach of the ministry, providing an opportunity to disciple the next generation while offering high-quality dance education in a Christ-honoring environment.

We stand apart from many studios by intentionally going against the mainstream norms of the dance world. We use family-friendly music, promote modesty, self-worth, and inclusivity, in a non-competitive professional atmosphere.

While faith is at the center of who we are, our doors are open to everyone in the community, regardless of belief.

We believe no child should be turned away due to financial hardship. To keep classes accessible, we offer needs-based financial aidmilitary tuition assistance, and support for children in foster care through our partnership with Olive Crest. Often, this aid is given even when our financial aid fund has little or no resources to cover it.

We are seeking partners to join us in blessing the next generation for Jesus through dance.

"Start children off in the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

Shoes & Costuming

Ongoing Need for our Full-Time Volunteer Dancers

Many items in our costume department can be reused year after year, but some dance essentials must be replaced regularly, often several times per season.

Each dancer typically goes through at least six pairs of ballet flats and two pairs of pointe shoes per season. The average cost for worn-out dancewear, such as shoes and leotards provided by the ministry, ranges from $300–$600 per dancer each season.

Typical Costuming Expenses

  • Ballet Flats: $20–$30 per pair

  • Pointe Shoes: $90–$150 per pair

  • Biker Shorts: $20 per pair

  • Undergarment Leotards: $25 each

  • Tights: $15 each

  • Costumes: $65–$125 each (last multiple seasons but custom-made for each new dancer)

Please prayerfully consider supporting Paradosi's ongoing shoe and costuming needs.

Motorhome Fund

North America Outreach Tours

We have been praying about a motorhome for the ministry for several years and we are now pursuing this goal!

We want to go to where the people are and to the places where a ministry like ours may never otherwise have an opportunity to share the hope of Jesus through the arts.

A motorhome will serve as our base of operations while on the road opening up more of the country to us while reducing our travel time, meal expenses, and housing expenses.

Thank you for your prayerfully considering supporting this goal as we prepare for this next chapter in the life of the ministry!

____________

DONATE  A  MOTORHOME (Gift-In-Kind)

If you have a motorhome that you would like to donate to the ministry, we would love to put it to work!  As Paradosi is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we can provide you with a tax-receipt for the fair market value of the vehicle!

Ideally we are looking for a Class C motorhome with a cab-over sleeping area and a rear bed or bedroom that can be modified to accommodate bunks.  We are open to receiving other models in good operating condition and vehicles that can be flat towed behind an RV.

SPONSOR OPPORTUNITIES

Do you own or manage a business and have similar values as ours?  If you are a business owner or manager and are interested in sponsoring the purchase of a motorhome for Paradosi, we are open to talking about possible sponsorship advertising opportunities.  Please contact us today to discuss your proposal.

We have set a goal of $35,000 to purchase a used motorhome that can be retrofitted with sleeping bunks. Gifts donated in this fund are being held in a savings account until we reach our goal.
