Christian Ballet Dance Workshops and master Classes Paradosi Ballet Company

What Makes a Paradosi Workshop Different

Paradosi is first and foremost a worship ministry that uses dance education as a discipleship tool for growth. Along with strong technical instruction, we prioritize character and spiritual formation, including humility, work ethic, and encouragement.

Classes are taught by the Artistic Director and dancers of Paradosi Ballet Company.

Depending on your goals and schedule, workshops may also include:

  • Creative worship workshops
  • Student Q&A (faith, calling, artistry, auditions, injury prevention, and life as a dancer)
  • Teacher Q&A (class structure, culture building, discipleship in studio life, and practical tools)
  • Optional in-studio worship time led by Paradosi dancers

  • We gladly partner with Christian and non-faith-based studios. We simply ask for clarity up front so expectations are respectful and smooth.

    • Openness to respectful conversations with students who have questions about faith

We will always honor your studio’s leadership and communicate ahead of time about what is planned. Our goal is to serve your dancers well and represent Jesus with excellence, kindness, and integrity.

  • Q: What ages and levels do you teach?

A: We teach ages 3 through adult and we can offer classes from beginner through advanced. We will tailor class content to match your dancers’ level and your studio’s goals.

Q: What is your ballet teaching methodology?

A: We teach classical ballet with a well-rounded approach that blends elements from the French, Italian, and Russian schools of training. Our instructors draw from methodologies such as Cecchetti, Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Balanchine, and Vaganova, but we do not rigidly adhere to a single syllabus. Our goal is to give dancers a strong, precise technical foundation that helps them adapt well to a variety of styles.

Q: Will you travel to teach a workshop?

A: Yes. We often teach workshops while on tour and we also send individual and small groups of teachers to other regions for studio and university master classes.

Q: What does the host studio provide for travel workshops?

A: For workshops outside our local area, the host studio or organization typically provides housing, transportation, and meals for our instructors and staff. Details can be discussed based on your location and schedule.

Q: Do you charge a set fee?

A: We do not require a fixed fee. Paradosi is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry, and gifts we receive from workshop sponsors help support our mission. Hosts are invited to partner through a gift or love offering, as they feel led to provide.
